Spring Term in Year 4

We have had a great half term.

All year 4 enjoyed food tasting linked to our RE theme, understanding the celebrations of Rosh Hashana. We have developed the skills of passing, shooting and dribbling in Hockey as well as exploring bridges using apparatus.

We now know lots about the artist Stephen Wiltshire and have been so busy practising scribbling and blending techniques.

The children have used the features of a playscript to re-write an exciting version of the Gruffalo developing their own character.

World book day was a highlight for all. The children were so busy all day searching for characters during a scavenger hunt, looking at different books, thinking about their favourite books and designing new front covers for a book.
