Spring Term in Year 3

In Year 3, we have been very busy this term learning about fossils, including the famous fossil hunter, Mary Anning. We have explored different types of soil and even went on a walk around the school grounds, encouraging the children to touch and feel each soil type and observe its appearance.  We particularly enjoyed learning about the artist, Georgia O'Keeffe, and creating our own watercolour paintings inspired by her use of colour and technique. In PE, it was great to see how the children's tennis skills have developed; watch out, we have some future "Andy Murrays" in the making!
